Times of Services

Sunday Worship

Sunday morning services are held in the Cathedral at 11.00am.

Holy Communion is celebrated after the morning service on the first Sunday of each month in one of the East Chapels or the Blacader Aisle.

A service of Choral Evensong will be held in the Cathedral at 4.00pm – all are welcome.

(Please note that the 6:30pm service is cancelled until further notice)

The Late Service – “an informal time of worship, including healing and communion, held in the reflective atmosphere of the Lower Church”. This Service is held on the last Sunday of every month.  The service begins at 8.30pm.

On the third Sunday of each month, a short service of prayers for all in need is held after the morning service at 12.15pm.

Annual Services

The Christmas Eve Watchnight Service starts at 11.15pm and finishes around 12.15am.

The Christmas Morning Service, including Holy Communion, starts at 11.00am.

The New Years Eve Watchnight Service starts at 11.00pm.

When desired, Holy Communion will be celebrated privately in members’ homes or in hospital.
